I would say most people enjoyed the first movie of Anchorman, especially the character Ron Burgundy. It was an interesting idea by Conan O’Brien and his team to have Will Ferrell come on to the show and act as Ron Burgundy. Conan O’Brien has found great success in utilizing YouTube as a way to put highlights up from his show. This particular video has managed to receive over 700,00 views in less than 48 hrs. So here it is.
Why did it go viral?
This goes back to one of the reasons I said why Episode 4 went viral, and that was because of seasonality. Due to Anchorman 2 coming out this Christmas, people are wanting to get their hands on as much information on this new movie as possible. The humor aspect of Will Ferrell also plays a huge role in why this video went viral. When anytime you can create a video that makes people laugh at their computer, it’s a job well done in my books.
